Weddings........Bridal Bouquet/Real flowers!!

 
I know I'm not the only one facing challenges these days. It seems to be all around, especially for those planning special occassions like wedding. One thing I have discovered is how easy it can be to do things by yourself.

This was my wedding bouquet, did i mention i put it together!  All i did was find the flowers that matched my theme (it does not have to be roses) and put them together.
 What you need:- flowers, floral wire, floral tape, ribbon and scissors

How to do it:-

• Clip the stems off the flowers with your scissors(about 2inchs) and arrange your flowers the way you will want the bouquet. remember to remove the bad petals. Also ensure the stems are equal as you cut.
• wrap the floral wire around the stems below the flower heads to secure together making sure the wire is tight so nothing falls out of place. Add the flowers gradually as you work to get the size you want to avoid damaging the petals.
• Cover the handle with desired color of ribbon and you are done.
• you can further secure with floral tape (masking tape will do) if you are not sure of the wire before putting your ribbon.

You can get your flowers from Park'n'shop, Spar or any locale flower shop around you, they sell single stems and they are very affordable. I did my bouquet a night before and kept in the freezer.

 A professional florist might say 'not a great bouquet' but i take pride in knowing its my hand work.
Another tip worthy of mention is, buy a comfortable shoe that you will continue to use after your big day.
 Extrem circumstances calls for smart ideas. Save money on your wedding planning and plan a honeymoon, it is very imortant.
