COFFEE SCRUB

I love "Do It Yourself " projects, especially when it comes to beauty and business and i am everly searching for them and looking for ways to be beautiful without breaking bank. Youtube is my best place to look because it shows you how to get it done....... its visual.
In my search i have found quite a number of them but this girl is exceptional, her tutorials are as simple as ABC and very easy to follow.

Her name is Michelle Phan, i decided to try out the things she said and know if they work, of course you can't rave about something you can't confirm.

Am posting this one because i tried it, fortunately for me i am a coffee addict and i make mine with this machine and this coffee

"Waking up to a freshly brewed coffee? About to throw away the roasted goodness? STOP! Slather that stuff on your face and if you think I am being sarcastic sadly I am not…this time.

I came up with this scrub one morning when I was about to toss away the brewed coffee beans…realizing that one of my foundation had caffeine in it. It occurred to me that perhaps applying on brewed coffee beans can wake up my tired skin! So I was talking about it to my friend and she told me how her father would use coffee beans to wash off the car oil on is hands. Ahhh it washes off oil too? And it is also a natural exfoliate, so coming up with this scrub was all mer luck really. I did more extensive research to see how safe this scrub is, and gladly found out that it is gentle for the skin. So next I was experimenting the scrub out on my face, and boy can I tell you my skin feels super soft and smells like coffee…mmmmmm
So start off with freshly ground coffee beans. I used starbucks coffee

Brew it as usual you coffee addicts you!

And save the brewed coffee beans

Enjoy your coffee!

Add honey into the coffee. Not too much, not too little, about 1/4 of the amount of your coffee beans.
{funny that i didn't read this part well and i added extra virgin olive oil instead and still got my result}

Mix it up well

Scoop some into your hands…ahh soo fresh!

Apply it onto your face. Exfoliate it as you do so to scrub off dead skin cells.

Leave it on for 5 minutes.

And wash it off as you are exfoliating.
Guess what.........., it felt so clean that i had to use the rest for my whole body
oh i remembered to pamper my foot and give it a good scrub so you can only imagine how lucky i felt to have found this.
This is just the beginning, i encourage you to look her up and you will find loads of them.
Don't worry about your mistakes because you never know what you will discover yourself so long as they are not harmful to you.
My own picture? don't worry you will get to see the outcome soon. i will definitely upload my own effect just come back.
